In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney wanted to deliver a very personal message of hope to residents of the city and region. He chose to write an open letter to all Philadelphians, which his office asked us to share.
We invited a new customer to shop our Co-op, and a filmmaker documented her experience. Clips from her Weavers Way shopping adventure are now showing on cable TV, but you can also check them out here!

Our popular pop-up shop, located across the street from our Mt. Airy store, features an eclectic mix of locally made kitchenwares, housewares, vintage, jewelry, pottery, artwork, plants and more, every Friday from 3-7 p.m. and every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

When John Janick and his family moved into their first home with a real yard on Sedgwick Street in 2008, he sought information on how to make it bird friendly. Learning about the critical role of native plants in supporting wildlife started him on a new life venture that would eventually lead to his native plant nursery, Good Host Plants.
