We carry locally grown and naturally raised beef and local pastured pork. Our ever-expanding meat department offers lamb, pork and beef from Esposito’s butcher shop in South Philadelphia’s famous Italian Market. Other products include delicious Martin’s sausages from New Jersey, and for more gourmet fare, try D’Artagnan sausages, duck, spareribs and buffalo meat. We also grind our meat every day in-store.
Our poultry selection includes Empire kosher chicken, as well as chicken from Bell & Evans that is both naturally raised in Pennsylvania and completely free of antibiotics.
Weavers Way also carries a full line of fresh seafood delivered daily from Samuel and Sons, as well as a variety of smoked fish from Ducktrap Farms and smoked wild salmon from Grindstone Fisheries. We participate in the Seafood Watch Program that is a project of the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Our participation means that all of our fish and seafood is chosen with their environmentally friendly seafood practices as a guide.

Our bakery department offers an enticing variety of savory and sweet items from golden challah breads to brownies and bars. We sell fresh artisan loaves daily, as well as sliced breads for sandwiches. Baguettes are always available and are the perfect complement to every meal. We also carry a large selection of loose bagels and rolls. The weekends, especially, are a nice time to enjoy buttery pastries and croissants with a leisurely breakfast. Our product variety allows shoppers to buy everyday items for school lunches and easy dinners, as well as specialty items, like pies, all in one place. If you do not see what you are looking for on the shelf, members can always pre-order items.
The co-op philosophy guides our ordering practices. Weavers Way is committed to supporting small, local bakeries whenever possible. We carry baked goods from some of the Philadelphia area’s most well-known bakeries. We also offer locally baked gluten free and Kosher baked goods. Whenever possible, we source from bakeries who use organic and all natural ingredients.
