Weavers Way is pleased to announce Senior Discount Tuesdays!
Beginning Tuesday, May 5, members 65 and older who sign up can receive an extra 10% off of almost all their purchases. (We only exclude items like newspapers, stamps, tokens and equity payments.)
It could not be simpler to sign up: Stop by the Membership Department in Mt. Airy to complete a member form and present ID, or, if you shop in Chestnut Hill, inquire at the register. Once the form is completed and identification has been presented, you are all set.
Working Member households with at least one senior member who has signed up for the program will receive both the Working Member discount and the senior discount, for a total of 15% off all day, every Tuesday. If you have not worked hours in a while, there has never been a better time to re-up — contact the Membership Department to learn more about the many ways you can contribute to the work of the Co-op.
And don't forget — all members already receive 5% off of Weavers Way-branded items, like our vitamins, farm produce, pickles and logo gear. That means senior members could rack up a total of 20% off if they include Weavers Way-branded items in their shopping baskets.
The discount is automatic at the register. There is no need to present ID or ask for the discount, just tell the cashier your member number and the discount will be applied. Please note that the senior discount cannot be combined with Weavers Way's Food For All low-income discount. Senior Co-op members who qualify for FFA should opt for that program.
The Co-op will be the place to be every Tuesday! So visit the Membership Department (555 Carpenter Lane, adjacent to the Mt. AIry store) or talk to a cashier in Chestnut Hill to start saving. You can pick up the form when you come in, or download it here (.pdf) and fill it out and bring it with you.
